A LITTLE HELP FOR THE GROWN-UPS
Your learning day, made a little simpler.
Flexible activities.
A pace that fits your child.
01Give each child a space.
Add a nickname and picture for each child. Choose a grade in Math Adventures or a skill trail in Word Adventures.
02Explore together.
Read instructions aloud, talk through an answer, and celebrate the effort. A short, happy session is a good beginning.
03Make room for play.
Switch to the Bean Arcade for a brain break, or use Family Charades to get everyone moving away from the screen.
Can multiple children share one computer?
Yes. Each child can choose their own learner profile, without signing up for an online account. Math Adventures saves progress in this browser on this device. Each child has a separate local profile for Math Adventures, Word Adventures, and Type & Wonder. The parent dashboard shows progress and provides family backup and import tools.
What does Word Adventures practice?
Choose from five grade-based reading trails: First Words, Phonics Explorer, Word Builder, Meaning Maker, and Reading Detective. Read a clue, move to matching words, and collect them. Each trail has 30 practice levels. Grades 3–5 add vocabulary, word study, and passage-based questions, including inference and evidence in grade 5. Adventure mode starts with monsters; Practice mode turns them off. Passages can be read before the chase starts, with optional read-aloud.
How do we move around in Math Adventures?
Use the arrow keys or on-screen controls to move, then select Eat to collect a matching answer. You can also tap a square to move there, then tap it again to collect it. Adventure mode has monsters from the start. Choose Practice, or use the in-game Practice switch, for a monster-free session.
What is included in the Bean Arcade?
Garden Guardians and Starbean Squadron are original 10-level blaster adventures with boss battles, earned upgrades, and browser saves. Garden Match is a solo or turn-taking memory game. Sprouts & Sunshine is a two-player game of three in a row. Family Charades offers prompts for an off-screen guessing game. There are no ads, chat, real-money purchases, or links to outside game sites. Blaster-game upgrades use coins earned through play.
A little guidance goes a long way.
These games offer skill practice, alongside your family’s teaching. Choose a comfortable level, read instructions together, and celebrate persistence. Saved progress stays in this browser on this device; download a family backup before moving to another computer or clearing browser data.
